2014 New Years Resolutions

Here I sit about 24 hours away from the beginning of 2014 thinking about how to make the new year better than this last year. It has been a fairly rough year and it's time to turn things around. I have never really been one to make New Years Resolutions, but have been thinking about a few things I wanted to change and work on this year.
I have decided to go ahead and make a list of resolutions to push myself to keep with them. I have always thought about blogging since I do enjoy writing and getting my thoughts out and on paper (well virtual paper.) My first resolution is to start this blog and to stick with it and post on a regular basis.
My second resolution is to become more frugal in this new year. I have had a tendency to buy things on impulse as well as eat out and spend more on food then I really should. Going forward if there is something I want to buy on impulse I will write it down and wait at least 30 days before I go to buy it. This should cut back some random impulse spending.
Third and lastly (for now) I am planning on eating better and healthier in the new year. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not going on some wild diet or following a strict plan. I have a tendency to eat out a lot and often times at fast food restaurants. As much as I enjoy some of different restaurants, I am going to only go there in moderation.
These are my resolutions for 2014 as well as my first blog post. I hope this wasn't too boring as a start to a new blog, but I'm sure it will get better as I go. I better keep up with this blog since this posting on here is my first resolution.
